Good positioning and a handy tackle saved the Lizards from going 1-0 down in the first half as this young Skink sent Davros to the ground and KO'd him to save a certain score.

Good hard blocking all game from this big strong lizard and a good chase put on in the second half as Carlton stalled against a horribly undermanned Slumbering. Made several dodges and just kept plugging away. With a bit of luck he could certainly have altered the scoreline.

Exploding through the centre at the start of the second half, this rampaging Saurus, the twin of Slilrl, gave me a real scare as he went toe to toe with Adam Yardley deep inside my own half, forcing a dodge which if failed would have been a complete tragedy. Gotta count them squares better. Gave me a real scare!”
