“With my only guard player missing, i figured it would be rather tough to deal with the undead, especially with all the ST4s, and the two mummies. On the other hand, elves are elves, and I do have a whole lot of AG5 to go around, so i figured i'd just have to play like elves are supposed to be played.
It worked fine up until half way through the first half, where i started two turns in a row on double 1's. You just can't afford to have that happen with elves - they get beaten up far too easily. Of course, this made it fairly easy for him to score, and i was outnumbered a little in the second half. There wasn't a whole lot I could do to stop them scoring in around turn 4. Jinxed played it nice and safe, and without a whole lot of good luck (which i didn't have this game), i didn't have much of a chance of stopping him.
In the last drive, I managed to get 3 elves withing scoring range, Fatalis was man of the match, pushing aside the mummy with ease. I managed to get one of them free to receive the ball, but the thrower had other ideas, and gave the ball to the mummy instead of the waiting blitzer down-field.”
