The match started out well for the Shadows of Death, a quick score on their initial drive was followed by an intercept when the Ripped Gut Clan was trying to pass for a TD to the goblin Vaerluth, and another quick elven TD followed, making the score 0-2.

The orcs weren't beaten yet though, and with two turns remaining for a last drive they managed to get Vaerluth into a scoring position again, and this time there weren't any elves who could intercept... 1-2.

In the orcish second half drive Asglarek, another goblin, presented himself and made a quick score, despite the drive running into some early troubles from a marauding elven blitzer... 2-2.

So the stage was set for the final, and game-winning, TD of the match. With nine elves remaining again staring at a full-strength orcish defense the elves understandably tried for another quick TD, but this time the orcs were better prepared to stop them, and soon Ulthrang the Mad had blitzed the ball loose from elven hands. Rookie lineorc Glorlarkh somehow managed to pick up the ball, but his attempted pass to the only orc outside of tacklezones (a Black Orc Blocker) wasn't caught.

With the ball in three orcish tacklezones the orcs weren't worried though, but after some fancy blocking the elves managed to get the ball free and a witch elf picked it up and raced away to throw it to the blitzer closest to the goalline, this day the elves were cursed with greased shoes however and she promptly knocked herself out going for it.

With the ball once again loose the orcs picked it up and finally got into position to throw it to Vaerluth in the next to last turn. With nothing to disturb him he not only failed that catch, but he also didn't pick up the ball on the last turn for an easy TD, proving that you never should trust an goblin to do an orcs work...

Thanks for a great game Naecken!
