“What can I say? LOL

I lost that through 2 silly mistakes and some good luck on my opponent's part to capitalise on them.

I started in offence, and killed his Mummy with the second block of the game (but he regenerated). As he got the ref on the kickoff, I spread out and when I failed to pick up the ball with my Hobgobbo, I chose to not use a reroll as I had a hobbo and Bull Centaur near by and he only had a Ghoul.

Said Ghoul did a one dice blitz on my Hobbo got a pow, stunned me and picked up the ball! I did a 2 dice Blitz on him, and could not get a pow despite using a reroll. The Ghoul then did a 4+ and 3+ dodge and two GFI to score LOL.

Next kick off, I block with wrong player and immediately get a skull, rerolled to another skull and the ball is near the line of scrimmage. He gets to the ball, but I manage to recover it and lose it again then regain it again. His Ghoul then did a one dice blitz on me, got the pow and again picked up the ball (no rerolls by now) and scores LOL.

Second half he was receiving so it was just me playing hard defence to stop him scoring again even though it meant I would not get a chance to score myself.

It was a very fun game. I deserved to lose that. Sure my opponent had some luck with his crucial one dice pows (there were 3 of them where I would have stopped a score otherwise) and I had some bad luck with a fair few double skulls, but if I hadn't made the dumb mistake in the first half, he wouldn't at all have been in a position to exploit them and benefit from the luck.

So this loss I blame myself for completely. Congrats Tgrozow, may this ease the pain of our previous encounter between the Green Horde and the Hashut Hellbringers LOL.
