#3 'Kellogs' The Cereal Killer – Broken Ribs (MNG) #3 'Kellogs' The Cereal Killer – Smashed Knee (NI) #9 Billy 'The Replacement' Johnson – Dead (RIP)
“Nuffle’s twisted sense of humour struck hard on a dark day in Har Ganeth.
After Teddy Spitestripper niggled out, and Billy ‘the replacement’ Johnson died in a turn one RIP from vicious DP Gotrebla the Psychotics began their turn with 9 men. The sharp booted skeleton spent the rest of the half kicking chunks out of the dark elf squad, KO-ing Lucrezia, who never returned.
The torrential rain didn’t seem to affect the Undead’s pick-up ability, but constant Blitzer pressure eventually saw the Psychotics steal the ball, and score in turn 7, taking a 1-0 lead in at half-time.
The weather stayed the same, and Gotrebla got sent off in turn one. We blitzed some holes through the Undead line, and steadied ourselves for the 2+ (reroll), 3+ (reroll) td. One blitz later and the score was set up. The pass was made, but the 2dblitz had failed to knock down Homeround who intercepted on a 9.
From then on the game turned. The Undead caged, as they do, and we blitzed and leapt in, but that POW block was proving elusive. The pressure left us open, and a hail of 2dice POWS in return and the Dark Elf team started to collapse. An Si to Kellogs was not healed by our useless apothacery, and the crowd BH’d Jeran in the same turn. Two KOs left us with 3 men, none standing.
Despite our best efforts, a snake-eyes scuppered our only shot at the one dice block, and then the multiple dodges and lucky –2dPOWS eluded us, allowing the Mausoleum to equalise in the final turn.
With Kellogs joining Teddy as a niggler, the last thing we needed was Jeran niggled by aging. And yet, he was.
Once again Har Ganeth hit TR 180/190 and once again we get broken back down. An accursed draw, and a one on the FF and winnings rolls rub salt into the wounds. ”
