We were allowed to do three matchups before entering the NFL league, and of course we grabbed the chance to do so.
A bunch of high-and-mighty elves would do just well for starters.
And man, did we show them how to play their game. It was a rather bloodless affair, but Morning Star really showed how to play with finesse instead of brute force. (Mostly) precise blocks and decent ball handling made the way. The key move being Universal Peace catching the game-breaking touchdown in the final round of the match.
Only problem was animosity on the team. Someone got "inspired" to spike the Mino's pre-match drinks with a strong sedative, and the Mino quickly passed out after a series of impotent blocks. No attempts to revive him proved successful, and the beastmen were allowed to fight on alone.
Most of them wanted to do it, but I've still got to find out who the "hero" was. Better have a teamtalk with them. I find it highly suspect that Bringer of Light managed to get the MVP when he accomplished absolutely nothing during the match...
