#9 Security – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#9 Security – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
A small notice: This team was a 4vs4 Team first, but after the instant tourneys went less popular i decided to rebuild that team up to eleven people.

After the last match where my ogre died because of some boot action by skeletons i had to safe money to replace him. So...who would fight that team? well okay some rookie Beastmen and their Bull did.

The handicap was the worst i could recieve in a 10 player situation. I am the greatest on both blitzers - crap. Well okay, we can handle that.

First half was quite good, after three turns the humans were able to score and the draw was scored in the 8th turn.

So far, so good.

But then i had to use my apoth on my catcher (just mng but i thought he could decide the game for me ) the following block on my MA7 thrower was the answer why you shouldn´t waste your apoth on mngs: -st ! well okay, byebye ma7 thrower.

finally his beast was able to pick up the ball and make the 1-2. After setting his players up one beast decided to breake his neck when my blitzer blocked him, sry about that. I recieved enough money to replace the thrower AND buy another lineman. Now i´ve got 11 players again and we´re back in serious business :)

(good game, well played, i hate these dice, anywhen a rematch? call me ^^)

#9 Good Intentions – Dead (RIP)
Second pre-league match for the morning star.

The team was a bit daunted to play against such a team, but I decided that they could use the practice. Good Intentions thought it would be a walkover. Apparently, so did Russo and Dee, so they refused to take it to the pitch at the same time.

At first we got outbashed by the humans. A series of really appaling blocks looked like they would secure the loss. However a failed catcher dodge turned the tables, and suddenly we started to smash the frail humans apart. Well, the beastmen must have been drinking fungus beer the night before, because picking up the ball wasn't on their list of priorities. I tried to get the apo to look into it, and while it may have won me that match, it wound up killing Good Intentions off. Ah well, I wouldn't waste an apo on people with a loser attitude. Perhaps now he'll get a better chance at explaining his lack of belief where he's going to now :-)

The man of the day was Righteousness, pickup up the ball and running like a Khornate brigade was right on his tail for the winning touchdown (not that Khorne, blood for the bloodgod, would ever use brigades, but you get my drift ;))

(Thanks for the match, and sorry about the thrower).
