“Qawhok overcame the pain to play in this game, and proved his lethality yet again.

Ratter-rat-rat got into a scuffle with Hugh, who really doesn't like rats, and came out the worse for wear. His niggling injury should test the depth of the Scurriers.

Qarwhok was down for the count early on in the second half, and Norsemen were frantically trying whatever means necessary to get him out of the game. Qarwhok was fighting for dear life, and stayed down a very long time.......

A 6th turn, second half, TD saw the Scurriers pull away with a 1 TD lead.

DX had to go for it all on the last turn. His Blitzer was in scoring range, and the ball carrier had to dodge out of a TZ. The first dodge was successful, then all he had to do was hand it off, then the rest was up to his Blitzer.

The crowd (who weren't at all delighted with the Norse, stunning 3 players to my 1) held their breath.......

Blitzing with his Blitzer, he then had to dodge out of the TZ and he was in. He came up short on the dodge roll however.

I love close games like this, where it all comes down to the very last turn.

Thanks to DX, he had me in the same predicament in the first half :D
