Very bizarre game. I received and did two SI blocks in my first turn and was owning the game, advancing the ball deep and about to score by turn 4.
My turn 4 I roll double skulls early, and again later in the same turn and my Ghoul with the ball gets sent out of bounds, no score! My opponent retrieves the ball and I then roll Skull + Skull/Pow rerolled to double Skull/Pows with my Mummy without Block and I have no chance of catching him.
I put some pressure on and my opponent scores, leaving me with 3 turns to score back.
He kicks. Pitch invasion!!! Most of his players are stunned and I get an easy chance to score, cept instead of scoring on turn 8 with a Wight who had the ball, I run back to hand off to a different Wight with 4 SPP to score instead. My cheekiness pays off as she scored the TD, and later rolls +1 Str for her advance!
Second half, my opponent cages with the ball and I mob in tight. Some unlucky rolls for him when he tried to break out left just two Dark Elves with the ball in one group isolated from the rest of the team. I mob up and fail to get a pow on four dice, but fortune smiles on me when my opponent fails more easy dodges and I get a second chance to steal the ball.
I get the ball and advance it deep. A certain score on turn 7 with a Wight, I run back and hand off to a 15 SPP Zombie who throws to another Wight who scores instead. All whilst my opponent had player nearby ready to swoop on a missed or fumbled throw/catch. My cheekiness pays off again as the Zombie got +1 AG for his advance.
All in all a very fun game. To top it off, my 5 advance rolls from this match resulted in:
