“The first block of the match resulted in a serious injury, I suppose I should have seen what was coming!
Casualties flowed thick and fast, with three by the second orc turn. Fortunately for the plucky vikings, the orc coach was so excited by the blood on the line of scrimmage that he completely forgot about the ball, leaving his thrower unprotected from the predations of a lone norse lineman, who promptly knocked him flat and grabbed the ball! The answering orc blitz was the only (and I mean only!) failed roll of the match - leaving Strauss Strausssson to run the touchdown, while his few remaining teammates picked themselves up!
Kicking off with only 7 players lining up, the fearless norse warriors attacked the green uglies with gusto, but with seven men and an opponent with 75% luck, the writing was on the wall....”

Broken Norse bodies flew through the air and despite a brilliant kick-off (and a crucial mistake on my part) the Norse were able to take a 1-0 lead!
After that nothing could save them as more Norse were thrown around and three tds were scored.
My luck has not been this high....er.... ever I believe. Great match and I look forward to a rematch anytime.
