“What can I say? The first half was all skaven going up 2-0 in the first half(and I received the initial kick to boot). The injuriy boxes stayed relatively empty (i regened a BH and my opponent sufferered a KO). I knew going in that if I didnt get the injuries I would loose. It was looking rather bleak to start the second half having to kick. My furtunes changed in a hurry. I blitzed and caught the ball on the kick, caused 3 KOs and 3 casualties and drove the field, scoring on turn 4. I was in pretty good shape after the next kick. Being down in manpower, the Scurriers had to take some chances trying to hold on to the ball. I managed to get several die against his gutter but could not bring him down. I also mad some blunders in the play book, making ill-advised dodges, causing a pre-mature turnover on turn 6 or 7. The Scurriers were left with an easy dodge on turn eight for the 3-1 win.
Coach Eateralwolf played his team well and deserved the win. We all know how hard it is to win with an adverse luck difference, but he overcame and perserveered. ”
“Qarhwok and Ratter managed to play today, and Ratter got a VP for his casualty (player regen'ed).
Qarhwok had a quiet one, mostly being stunned by an over-abundance of Skellies!
Mekort proved his efficiency yet again scoring two TD's, while Zengleek added another to his total.
At the start of the 5th turn in the second half, I was receiving the ball. I had 6 rats on the field - 1 Blitzer, 1 Thrower, 2 Linerats, and 2 Gutters.
Thanks to some tricky dodging and weaving by Mekort, I managed to score on turn 7. However it didn't come easy, as Mekort had to dodge out of a TZ and I had no re-rolls. It came up good, bringing the game to a win for the Scurriers!
Brutal bashing by 3 Mummies and an extra 10-15% average luck didn't help the Khemri team for some unkown reason.
Megalomania was a great coach and fun to play against, too! :D”
