Twas a fine night for a BB match. New (to FUMBBL) Head Coach Richmon assembled his Filthy FilthyDelFeeYa GangGrenez - a mottled and motley crew if ever there was one.

The opponent was Coach Commando481's Ang Team - a vile, nasty, and evil bunch of blokes (compliments intended). Worse yet, the FG had to play infront of Ang's home fans - more on that later...

Well FG used its speed and rodent cuning to forge a quick 2-0 tally. It looked bleak for Ang. However Coach Commando481 had a gleam in his eye for he knew that the game was far from over. Further, he knew that there was more than one score card. While the FG tallied TD's Ang tallied Casualties on the under equipped Skaven.

The first half drew to a close and one could see that the Chaos' fans were growing irritated and excited…

As the teams lined up for the opening kick-off for the 2nd half, the Skaven coach could only muster 9 able-bodied rats. The Chaos team drew nearer to the line of scrimmage than in previous times. The kick was a good one and bounced in the FG’s favor. Unfortunately, that was the last favorable bounce this Skaven team would see for quite some time for Stinky Roteyez dropped the ball. He would not be seen again in this game.

In return, Chaos Warrior Allemag burst through the line and destroyed Stormvermin - and spiritual leader - Jaundice thus opening a hole for a long and brutal – a very brutal – march to the end zone by the half-man half-beast Coupang. Ang was only 1 TD down and seemed to have the benefit of momentum. In fact he did.

For the final kick off of the game the Skaven could only field 7 rats on the pitch and as they lined up to receive the ball, the tension in the crowd boiled over like a well-salted Halfling kidney stew. The crowd rushed the field each with a wicked gleam in their eyes and a hunger on their tooth. When the mayhem ended, four more Skaven lay stunned on the pitch. Only two chaos players were left in a similar condition. Obviously they got into fights over rat chops or the such.

The kick came but so did The Ang. The beaten and stunned defenders where no match against the brutal onslaught. Gut R’ Dun dropped the ball and quickly left the game. It seemed a sure thing that Ang would secure the ball and rumble into the Skaven end zone yet again.

However, a ray of hope – or insanity (we’re not sure which) – shot into the FG. Rookie Thrower Booger McBootay snatched the ball from the outstretched chaos teams’ hands and bounded away. With a dying pant, he handed the orb to fellow rookie Thrower Mal Eyria who ran. And ran. And ran. And pulled a hamstring and fell over a scant 2 paces from the endzone.

The Chaos team scoffed, laughed and jogged calmly over to the ball but failed to secure it. And with a fire in his eye and a pain in his gut, Mal Eyia stood up and blitzed a gape-jawed beastman, picked up the ball, dove into the end zone and collapsed in a bundle of fur and blood. 3-1 Final. There was no one left to carry the hapless rat off the field.

Twas a fine game, indeed.
