“Feeling quite secure that we would win this NBBA game, the Vikings set on the pitch under huge fans and expected the first Rats Offense. All started out okay for the rats with some nice Blocks and a good setup. When the Vikings started throwing their first blocks the Skaven Apoth soon got some work on a badly hurt linerat, which once again proved that you never use it on badly hurt players, because then the real carnage started.
The Skaven were able to take the lead and set up on the line of scrimmage expecting the first Norse drive of the game. The Norseman set up do early isolate the rat ogre and build some wild animal trap, but where shortyl shaken by a blitz which failed on the double skulls of the rat ogre. A Norse Blitzer than pushed the Strength four skaven Thrower next to the audience and since there was nothing else to do and strength four ain't nice to have around, a lineman slightly stepped on the rats head, resulting in it's untimely demise. Shocked by the outcomes of their first foul the Norse weren't fouling anymore during the rest of the game, altough their own Ogre spent the rest in the Knockout box due to the retaliation foul.
One more Storm Vermin was killed on a block, a Gutter runner killed itself via GFI, the rat ogre seriously injured itself on GFI and another skaven misses the next game due to a block. Alltogether an extremely bloody game that was easily won due to the huge advantage in numbers from early on.
Regards to Michael, who not only took every injury with a smile but also never gave up ... thanx for the game and sorry for the team.”
