“Our newest addition to the team, Flapping Duck proved his worth as soon as he came onto the pitch. Facing up against a Black Orc, he surprised everyone by putting him straight into the BH box! A well deserved MVP award.

The elves were soundly defeated this game. We made the foolish mistake of going for a 2-turn TD, which worked fine. Things were looking up. The orcs took control after that though, Kaljakorin Pojat seem to know just how hard to hit an elf to knock him senseless (KO). There was a good chance to steal the ball from the orcs, Karjala IVB put a stop to it, intercepting the pass that would have sealed the game (well .. if it had been successful). He then went on to make the long pass needed for a TD in the final moments of the first half.

We were unable to wake up the 3 elves in the KO box at half time, so went in with only six players. Although they tried hard, and came close a couple of times, the elves didn't quite get the ball away from the orcs. A TD in turn 6 gave the orcs a 2-1 lead, but left us 2 turns in which to try for an equaliser. Although there was a real good chance, a 1D block on our ball carrier took him down, and a failed dodge in the final turn left the elves wondering just what had happened.”
