“Khorne was displeased. Very much so. Igor knew this, and therefore he refused to take the pitch, claiming he was "too good to fight against this chaos dwarf rabble".
Early in the battle the Khowards 'persuaded' Johhnn Bull the minotaur that there was a wonderful heifer in the dug-out, so he left and only came back for the second half.
Sensing Khorne's displeasure, however, the Khowards spent most of their time cowering on the pitch, face down in the grass, always slow to get back to their feet. When they were on their feet, however, they were swift, fast and agile as ever. Mortgor of the Swift Escape, for example, again showed off his speed and grace.
The Khowards felt that Khorne's displeasure had been evaded, and were partaking in some end-of-match frolicking. However, Khorne had only delayed his punishment, waiting to see if blood would be spilled in his name. Since the Khowards failed in this, their divine mission, Khorne punished them by collecting Gorfruk's skull to further enlarge his already enormous collection of skulls.
The lesson has been learned: "Blood for the Blood God! Or else."”
