Started out with Greenbay Packers kicking to the Plague. The Plague made quick work of scoring while Greenbay tried in vain to get super star Cy An out of the game.
Next Greenbay received and again paid too much attention to Cy An… and lost the ball on a coaching error and soon the Plague was up 2-0 at the half.
Hint to other coaches: if you want to win against the plague, focus on the ball even though Cy An is a HUGE distraction…
Opening the second half, after a perfect defense, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila BH an unskilled lineman as Greenbay’s luck started to improve. With a wicked foul, Rat Ogre Ghost-Maker was SI’d with MNG. The apoth was already expended saving another players life. Soon Doug Peterson ran the ball in for 2-1 TD with just a couple turns left in the game.
Then the excitement started. Short handed receiving the kick-off, a gutter runner bobbled and dropped the ball. The Packers swarmed the ball, failed to take down the gutter runner, and coach Ug neglected to GFI through a -1 dodge to try to pick up the ball…
So… the Gutter Runner got the ball and ran so far away that only one player could reach him if he could dodge three times… which he couldn’t… so the Plague held on to win 2-1 and lock themselves a spot in the play-offs.
Great Game Cyric!
Warning to Cy An: Darren Sharper was seen practicing fouling for a week straight after this loss… beware…”
