“Started out pretty badly with two casualties in turn one.
Angaráto bite the bullit a few turns later, but I always knew that with his av6 it was only a matter of time. He didn't accomplish anything, and wasn't all that important for my play anyway. It still bites to lose a str4 blodger though :(
My opponent started fouling (at first without assists) with me having the ref. Surprised, I retaliated in response to him fouling the dancer of the pitch and stalling it out. His one foul proved more succesful than all of mine though...
The luck changed when one of his elves ran for the endzone. All the risky moves succeeded, and then he had to do the final GFI ;)
A daring countermove transported the ball where it belonged in one turn!
When I scored to 3-1 Vinnie kinda gave up. He put up a halfhearted defense, and was far more interested in fouling for the rest of the half, a fact he repeatedly pointed out. Ok, I tried to take advantage of it as well as I could, and won a comfortable victory.
So if you don't think all-out fouling is a fun response to trailing 1-3, then avoid this coach. Needless to point out I got the (in)famous turn 8 foul as well.
