“Round 2, and this time there were no stupid mistakes, more rain, minimum risks, and eventually, a win. The first half saw Deep Regret kick off, and the Ogres move the ball slowly downfield through Star. The touchdown didn't come though, due to moments of drunken bone-headedness, and the Ogres refusal to take any unnecessary risks, and possibly turn possesion over.
The second period saw Cambridge kick back to Regret, a kick so high it parted the clouds, scattered the rain from the field, and predictably went out of bounds. Great defense from Holes saw the Chaos attempt a pass instead of their prefferred running game, only to see the ball hit the grass instead of the receiver, whoever it was meant to be. That ended any chance the Chaos seemed to have, as a wall of rummy Ogres surrounded them, started bashing them, and boring them with talk about sports. Angered by his audience's apparent apathy towards his stories, Cambridge grabbed Senpael and Hasael, smashing the two Beastmen's heads together with a sickening crunch. The medic saved Senpael from an early grave, but was powerless to help Hasael, and the brain damage he suffered is likely to interfere with whatever career he has left. By games end there were few Chaos left standing, and none capable of stopping Star from running in the game winning touchdown.
A fine effort from the boyz, and a satisfying win for Coach.”
