The Children of Darkness tried out the Vampire Lord for the very first time and managed better blocking than in ages, but the elven agility enabled them to stay in the game.
It's really weird that this match saw two deaths though, both teams played fairly and aren't exactly renowned for their bashing skills...
What really made the game though was Azurus. I'll be looking for a rematch against him any day! =)”
That was the most enjoyable games i've played in ages.
A close first half, 2-2 at the whistle. We will mourn the loss of blitzer Khellendros Icetalon, but at least the Sabretooths exacted their revenge by killing the foul vampire Louis.
The vampires strength began to tell in the second half, with the elves down to 8 or 9 for most drives, and they scored easily to go 3-2 up.
A valiant effort by the elves, led by star blitzer Neraka Kitos (easily the player of the game), ensured a late touchdown, and lineman Morth Ignatius sealed the game by breaking through the line on the vamp's drive, to grab the ball.
A great game against a great opponent. More games like this please =] ”
