“The Forevergreen Faeries got off to an excellent start when the Viking Vacation didn't manage to pick up the ball for two turns, making it easy for Dart to leap for the ball, take it and score in turn 2.
On their second drive the norse thrower fumbled a pass and the faeries once again had an excellent scoring opportunity. That is, until newbie lineelf Dodia got to confident making a block and thought she had the block skill... The norse quickly turned that mistake into a TD.
The Faeries then went on the offense for the first time in the match, and managed to score in the very last round after a quick pass, catch and dodge.
The Viking's perfect defense in the beginning of the second half messed things up a bit for the elves, especially when Grandfather Tree knocked himself down on a three dice block. But then wardancer Windkin got the ball and held on to it no matter what. He also used his leap skill to good advantage and finally managed to pass to Mender for a TD.
At this point the match was already decided but the norse scored once more to try and placate their fans, but to no avail...
Thanks for a good game Gitzbang!”
