However, a request for clemency was granted, and every casualty was only hurt just badly enough to keep them out of the current match, and fit to play in the next round.

Whether this was due to benevolence on the part of the Dark Elves, or due to not wanting to give any undue advantage to the Stalkers' next opponent will be debated for some time...
