“Soul of the Anvil & the Watering Holes squared up for Holes' 18th game in the SWL today, and what a great clash it was! Another game played in extreme weather conditions- this time pouring rain-, the opening half saw much drinking from the Dwarves, and surprisingly, not so much from the Ogres. Anibriated to the point of sogginess, the Dwarves coughed posession up early, resulting in a TD to Star. More drunken behaviour from the resulting kick-off saw an amazing quick transition from Crown, who quickly blew the score out to 2-0, just before the halftime whistle.

The second period started with violence, when Lucky badly hurt Bofur. Bravely, the Dwarves chose to use their medic to keep Bofur in the game, but their gamble backfired when two blocks later their star Troll Slayer Thorin fell to the ground dead after Ship Inn spiked his drink.

Despite these setbacks, Soul of the Anvil managed to soon after through Dwalin, and it looked like they may have salvaged a draw. It wasn't meant to be though, and as M Bar scored a casualty off Nori in the dying seconds of the game, the ref blew full time on a 2-1 victory for the boyz.”
