“The initial drive from the elves down one wide zone got quickly stopped as a fatal error in the setup meant that the ball carrying thrower could be blitzed and the ball went into norse possesion. This was bad as the elves had most of their players very advanced into the norse half. The elves had a chance to get it back as a throw-in landed in the hands of a lone lineelf. However, he was isolated and the following fast turnover meant that norse could score in turn 6.
Turn 7: the lone catcher managed to keep standing and the elves score in turn 8.
Last turn of the half started ugly, as norse fans, enraged with the lack of bloodshed decided to throw a rock, smahing the collar bone on promising lineelf Galadriel Greenhand, seriously injuring her. Tinuviel Trollsbane managed to life through the foul on her.

First half ends 1-1.

Second half, norse recieved and penetrates deeply into the left elf wide zone.
Elf Thrower Siri Surehand, normally keeping her butt out of harms way, realizing that she is all that stands between norse and the end zone, blocks and kills lineman Gareth "Snake".
The elves now have a good chance to steal the ball as the norse thrower is knocked over, dropping the ball. Unfortunately a missed 2+ dodge roll and missed RR means that it is turn over, allowing the norse thrower to pass the ball to a waiting catcher deep into the elf half. The following 1D block is futile and causes turn over and the 2-1 lead to norse is a reality.

The elves, now outnumbered 7 to 10 goes for the fast TD, sending 3 players deep into the norse half, a catcher carrying the ball. The mission goes well and the score is 2-2 with 2 turns each to go.

Last 2 turns are uneventfull as the elves draw back to avoid more casualties.
