“Back to our usual quota of handicaps this round and the Wraithlords were much more settled going into the match, jumping on the whistle and blitzing their opponent on the line. It looked for a second as though they would again make a mockery of the handicappers, but it only lasted a second before a resounding boom from the sideline knocked the elves flat. Where did that wizard come from!? As if fighting down 20TS wasn't enough of a challenge! On the plus side, maybe that implies we're finally starting to present a challenge to the upper echelons of the CTL.

Alas, this game was a bit of a debacle - the elves never really recovered and the Comics thought the whole situtation funny enough as they sent a stream of bodies to the bins. Despite never really being in the hunt, the Wraithlords did manage to get lucky enough to get away with a draw...somehow. It was one of those games where very little seemed to work - even for the Comics, though at least they got to vent a little with those mighty blows in the game. We've also managed to come away intact, amazingly, so the rounds ahead still look entertaining!

Cas, cas, cas. Seemed to be no end of them this game. Thanks to the wizard and a perfect defence, we were always on the backfoot and out of position. DERF took advantage of it well and also foiled a couple of other try scoring attempts.
