#6 Leaping Lizard – Dead (RIP)
#7 Flapping Duck – Smashed Knee (NI)
#9 Pouncing Lion – Smashed Knee (NI)
Ooh, this was more of a game -- started out pretty well for me. After 'Pouncing Lion' was killed by a gobbo (saved by apothecary), My treeman got revenge, killing a black orc. With both apothecaries gon in the first two turns, there were bound to be a few injuries.

I scored with my new war-dancer in turn 3 - everything seemed to be going okay. The orcs didn't manage to get much past the centre-line with the ball before we took it back off them, but a fumbled pass in turn 8 meant that we didn't quite get the second touchdown that was really needed.

With only one player off the field, the elves came confidently onto the pitch for the second half. After the orc thrower failed to pick up the ball, several of them moved in, hoping to steal the ball, and make a second touchdown that would have sealed the game. Unfortunately, the second orc turn spelled doom for the elves, inflicting 3 more injuries, and crowd-pushing the wardancer (my mistake putting him so close to the boundary). Down to only 5 players, it was game over for the elves.

By the end of the half, only two elves remained on the pitch, along with their friendly treeman. Seeing that they were running out of time anyway, the orcs waited until turn 8 before scoring, making sure that there was no chance for a second touchdown for either team.

the whole game was decided by the 3 cas in one 2nd half turn. My teams inability to deal with a deep kickoff in the first half left the ball relatively unprotected and nearly led to a score for the elves. The same looked like happening in the second half untill some lucky rolls took out half of his team and i removed the wardancer via the sidelines. Unfortunately i was so deep in my half there was no chance of scoring in time for me to then turn the elves over for the equaliser. If it I hadn't got 3 cas in one turn i don't believe i would have even got a draw as i felt like i was being totally outplayed. Those elves are tricky players, but they sure break easy if they stand still.
