“An absolutely horrible performance from the decimated Bosstones team, whose incredibly bad luck led to half the team being sidelined halfway through the first half. Since the brutal Medley team, having bribed the ref, then proceeded to foul the remaining players, the Bosstones started out with just 4 players on the field for the second half, with another 5 not willing to regain consciousness to return to the living nightmare unfolding on the pitch.
Quickly, those four were reduced to 2. First the foolishly brave Fiscal, having survived two suicidal "Blaze of Glory" jump-to-your-feet-and-blitzes, tried to go an extra yard to put pressure on the orc thrower, only to stumble cruelly and die. Splat. Then the catcher, Valdez, was knocked out, and carried into the brimmingly full Bosstones treatment room, leaving the other catcher, Proscuito, and a single blitzer, Paragom, to fight it out with 11 big orcs.
They both survived, amazingly enough.
Proscuito's post-match comment was so surprisingly coherent, as he explained how running like a hare from the opposition was the best part of his game. Thoughtfully, he added: "the Mighty Bosstones have been through a rough patch, lately. I know we can do better. But in the end it's all up to Nuffle who obviously didn't favour us this day."
“From the moment our guys smashed the ref at first kick off they saw blood red, and there was no stopping there evil plans of destructions, brutality at its best.....after all an orc's gotte eat... man flesh.
His guys were so phased by our vicious onslaught that they decided to throw a smll party in the medical / recovery area, not even men enough to invite any orcs in for a friendly tipple.
Next time we steel all the beer first then we fight...
