#8 Avast Hathol – Serious Concussion (-AV) #12 Little Miss Darkness – Broken Ribs (MNG) #12 Little Miss Darkness – Smashed Knee (NI)
“Some Exciting Match Facts:
*Number of times the Dark Elves rolled a turn-ending doubleskulls or snake eyes = 7
*Number of OFAB rolls pass without reroll = 40/42
*Number of OFAB rolls passed including reroll = 41/42
*Number of times Malkav Revenge rolled snake-eyes or doubleskulls = 0
*Number of successful 2+ Halfling Chef rolls = 3/8
Only the Thralls' devotion to the KO box (they passed 2 rolls of more than 10) kept us in the game at all, as the Vamps blitzed holes in us, making 4+ and 5+ dodges for fun (what's the point of having Diving Tackle anyway?), and then having the audacity to repeatedly grab the ball in tacklezones, oblivious to their lack of rerolls (though in the second half they had 4, thanks to some poor cheffing and bad kick-off results).
It took us an impressive 4 turns (and four rerolls) just to pick up the ball and then, well, we just got beat. Smacked up, kicked down, ran around.
A failed TTM landing KO stopped our delayed (slippy fingers) first drive, and although a touchback gave us a swift second half score, crowd thrown rocks and the aformentioned 'diving-tackle' ignoring OFAB-free vampire blitzes tore our defence to shreds. Owned.
A fun game nonetheless, and we tried not to whine too much. Allowing us to make up for it here, :)
DAMN YOU VAMPIRES!”
