“well, first of all nice coaching by Malthor. Played his strength and never gave an opportunity to knock the ball from his hands. Best chance was a two dice roll against me.
The killer was the 2nd half kick off as he got the ref and boy he used it (but hey who wouldn´t if it would give you an edge for a possible overtime). But the game didnt go to overtime because he managed a nice TD last turn.
Again well played, I enjoyed it, as I always do when I play able coaches.
Good luck in the next round... you will need it :)
“Both teams freebooted a Star Player for this trounament match, The Dark hired Horkon Heartripper, and the Hellbringers recruited Hthark the Unstoppable.
The former had a very short game when he blitzed Chaos Dwarf Tziggoran and forgot to bring out his poisoned dagger and got knocked on his ass and was seriously injured (Skull, rerolled to Skull/Pow)!!!
The Hellbringers who started in offence formed a cage and brought the ball slowly upfield as they bashed any Dark Elf player they could find. An early foul causing Dark player Lenti to miss the rest of this game and the next. Eventually, the Hellbringers scored just before half time.
In the second half, things looked decidedly grim for the Dark when the Hellbringer fans invaded the pitch and killed the ref! This allowed Hellbringers Hobgoblin Slurrpa to foul at will, and he did this often for the rest of the match, sending another two players to the casualty bin.
The Dark spread out, forcing the Hellbringers to spread out their defence, whilst leaving a reasonable chance for the Dark to score early so that they would have plenty of time to score back to avoid a draw or overtime.
However, the Dark delayed for a while, hoping in fact to push the game to overtime, but as the game clock ran down, more and more Dark players were getting knocked out or injured, and the Dark Elves decided to score just over halfway into the second period.
The Hellbringers lined up again and pushed hard towards the Dark end zone. With their superior numbers, it was quite easy in the end to find a gap to score the winning TD.

A fun game as always with Sinner.
He had some awful bad luck to start off with, forgetting to click on his dagger and Seriously Injuring himself out of the game! I also forgot to click on Multiple Block once when I needed to clear out two guys to get a score. Luckily, I found another way to score, but my mistake wasn't as crucial (or hilarious LOL) as that made by my opponent.
I then had quite good luck most of the match with armour rolls, KOing his guys regularly, or fouling them to the Badly Hurt bin. Despite my opponent being outnumbered, he still played good defence and my last second TD was certainly not a given (especially after Multiple Block didn't work even though I highlighted it) and in the end I had to GFI to get the match winning TD.
If anything, it was the Get the Ref roll that won me the game. I have never ever used a Dirty Player on FUMMBL before, but it is a tourney so I got the skill just before the tourney started.
Hopefully karma doesn't get me and give some higher FF coach Get the Ref! As it was, none of my fouls caused more than Badly Hurts so I haven't harmed Sinner's team apart from the -1 FF for losing.
Next opponent is likely to be the Terrifying Anarchists... gulp!
