“This was a great game! ...i lost... but it was good old end to end stuff!

I learned a lesson about stalling today i think.. i stalled in turn 6.. cos i knew his gutters could score in the final 2 turns of the half... but he blitzed my ballcarrier :( i still managed to get the TD in turn8.. but i should have just walked it over earlier!

Like my old mum used to say: "you cant hold a good gutter runner down" which is true in many ways... i needed to tackle today.. they were just too dodgey for me!

In the last turns of the match it was all square and his thrower failed the pickup. my blitzers ran forward... all i needed was to pick it up and walk over for the winning touchdown! it was obviously a slippery ball. i failed too... then along came the gutter... glided past me as if i werent there, picked it up, lobbed it effortlessly to his buddy who was off up the pitch to score despite me laying on all the TZs i could manage!

i now have a TACKLER! beware!! hehe”
