“A "recovery" match for the Dwarves (don't get me started).
Pouring rain, tackle and a whole boatload of 1's severely limited the ability of the Elves to do anything useful.
But they don't realise their luck in withstanding the ongoing pounding of the Dwarves without any injury. Again and again the whole Elven team was knocked down, but in their pride they got back up, ready to take another beating.
We must mention the brave Lord Halbidon Parmontagne, who never got back up though. Aeüs rest his Soul.”
“It was a recovery match! My last 4 games were definitely evil.
Anyway, it seems Nuffle actually had a hand in the luck of this game. Pouring rain all game. The Dwarves at first looked upon the field with dismay, thinking once again this would result in another loss with no gain. BUT no! Aside from killing an elf (with a certain satisfaction I might add) Badass Jake dodged, made 2 GFI and picked up the ball. He then threw a Long Pass to a blitzer who caught it. All in one turn.
To add a little salt in the wound SpeedKills passed to a Troll Slayer at the end of the game. At first Cleaver fumbled it, but on the 3rd attempt he caught it (had to pick up with runner and pass the next turn)! Oh yeah.. forgot to mention this troll slayer also got a Cas and Interception.
Needless to say, the dwarves showed that they can be agile.. though not particularily swift... hehe.
Sorry for the death Bassie, kinda came out of nowhere. Until next time.”
