Initially Clan Moulder got going slowly but late in the first half they scored despite some poorer moves (I blame my tiredness, others stated I simply suck ;-) and a stubborn defense.

I could prevent the Norse from scoring without too much problems really. Very hard to score with ma6/ag3 in a mere 3 turns vs Skaven whom run rings around you.

The second half he received but once more the golden combination of a dauntless blodge GR and the AG5 blodge GR worked like a charm. In the end he could not hide for these lads and a bit later the ball was passed to the claw-lino whom was on 13 spp's. He caught it and ran for the endzone earning himself a well-deserved skill (yay!) and the team the victory. (perhaps not as well-deserved though)

His second drive could not be stopped. Clan moulder was getting complacent and maybe even as tired as the coach. (a cynic might also point at the fact I had no RR left and rolled a skull/both down)

2-1. Honour saved for the valiant Northmen.

Very nice game, very nice opponent.

I hope he comes back for a rematch / revenge some day.

#4 Riff – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#4 Riff – Smashed Knee (NI)
Yup, a reamatch is defenetly somethings thats gonna happen, its always fun to play against better coaches (especially the nice clean ones)...

And hopefully by then I´ll be able to put up a better offence strategy. And mayby some blitzers to go with it, as Jinxed said, trying to score with norse linemen aint easy against skavens, especially with blodging dauntless gutters running around making their lifesworth :)

I had fun though, but I´m starting to realize that creating a norse lino-team wasn´t the best idea I had, but experiments are fun, and soon I´ll have the positionals I need, as long as the meager AV7 doesn´t break too mutch :)
