“Yes it truely was a tough game.
Going up against humans, you never quite know what to exspect. As JanMattys when't for the cage tactic I didn't hesitate long to try the hit and run. Trying to do a bit of damage along the way which also succeeded. 2 BH in the first couple of turns not bad. He got my rookie gutter BH and KO'ed one of my players so we had the same number of players on the field. I made sure his progress was slow, hitting the corners just waiting for an opening. When it came (thrower MNG himself on a skull) i didn't hesitate long to take advantage and get the ball free. I even managed to pick it up and get it downfield but got tied up by a blitzer. In my attempt to score Blide decided he couldn't dodge (Must be asking a lot to get an ag 5 gutter to dodge with rr), but okay i still had the chance if my lino could remain standing. He got surfed and the half was over 0-0.
The servants received going into the second half. The Hellfishes obviously thought that the servants would go for a quick score but no we had other plans... evil plans ;). As the kick went out for a touchback we gave the ball to our rookie lino Blin. Who first tried to go over the top (was only faking), when the puny humans overpursued we went in the opposite direction burning the humans. It might have been because the EVIL humans tried to hurt Mist, by a puny foul! a turn later the lead was a reality.
The defence did a great job stoping the Hellfishes last drive and hence came out on top.
In other News Mist. The abomination formerly known as a gutter runner. Climbed to an amazing 300 spp the 4th skaven player ever to do that. This mark was reached by Mist's 82nd casulty. In doing so Mist also climbed to the 9th spot of the alltime all division skaven blockers. what feat by the abomination.

I had crappy handicaps, (excluding Duh where am I which worked multiple times) so I knew it was going to be hard against a good coach and his band of freaks. More than this, he got two BHs in his first two turns, taking out my precious (and only) MB/tackle guy, whose only purpose was to shred and tear Mist's little fur.
Well, My cage had a hard time, and proceeded very slowly while Mr_QB took his chances to inflict more mayhem.
In the end he took the ball away from my catcher and tried a counterattack, but I stopped him and the half ended 0-0.
In the second half he scored in turn 3, not even using his oneturner.
I had a few turns to tie, but his defence proved too much for my poor attacking schemes. My only chance ended when my ag4 guy failed two out of three 2+ dodge rolls (burning my only rr).
