“Exciting match, even though I was definitely outclassed: In the first half my opponent managed to take the ball from me and thwart all attempts to get it back. During the second half, Flix got sloppy though and left his gutter runner exposed, while neglecting the defensive in his own territory. With a few lucky rolls I was able to snatch the ball, pass it to my gutter runner, who then ran deep into his zone, pretty much uncontested.

Flix reacted by crowd pushing my thrower. However, since he still allowed my gutter runner to roam free, I was in no hurry to score a touchdown and counter crowd pushed his 9 3 5 7 block, dodge, dauntless, side step gutter runner (and let me tell you, pushing out a side stepper is no easy task), who missed the rest of the game. At this point everything was possible again, since the score was now 1-1 and Flix was hopelessly outnumbered. A perfect defense was the nail in his coffin or so I thought. Unfortunately he did score in round 8 and my own attempt at a one turner was a failure, because I rolled a 1 on the 2nd of 3 going for its and foolishly clicked on "Do you want to use pro to re-roll?" instead of using my last regular team re-roll. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for clicking too fast, sometimes. Then again, he probably would have won in the overtime anyway, so it's all good.
