“A sad day in Har Ganeth as the Dark Elves mourn the loss of team captain and all-round hero Crazy Billy Stoutfoot.
No-one embodied the Har Ganeth spirit as much as LoHF founder 'Crazy Billy', and his fearless sprinting will be sorely missed.
Taken down by a classic 1, 1, 6+6, 6, 1 (damn you apothacery) whilst making a GFI, his death stopped the dark elf defense from putting tacklezones on the ball-carrier (and his half-cage). A turning point, it enabled the Executioners to form a slow-rolling uber-cage that, after some Har Ganeth stupidity (a heartbroken coach suffering from a heavy dose of 'bad maths')., allowed a 2/8 equaliser.
An enjoyable game, although one we should probably have fought harder to win. Some turn one KOs (four blocks, four pows, four armour breaks - ouch) gave us an easy 1/3 score, and we held off the Executioners for a long while. We held out for a solid 12 turns - even threatening now and again - but we could never recover the ball, and in the end WeedSki got the better of us.
Fun couple of hours. Rematches always available.”
