Things turned around a bit (although still in my favor) in the second half, but still there wasn't much House Veladorn could do in the face of such atrocious rolls. It's actually become something of a running joke. If everyone rolled against me like that, I'd be on top of the league, easily.

Just a personal pat on the back and note for the sake of sportsmanship: I pulled a cheesy 1 turn td with a rookie Gutter Runner. Fortunately, it involved only a few harmless pushes and, although it was cheesy after Trog only set up 3 men on the line to end the game after scoring on his turn 8, I did it just to do it once. I would have felt like an ass if I hurt an elf after just setting up 3 men to end the game and I probably wouldn't have pulled it if the game's decision was riding on it. Since I was already ahead and had a turn to play with, I went ahead for the fun of it, rather than to take advantage of Trog's expediency.
