Poppa was proud of his boys; they'd caught the undead in a moment of sunlight-assisted confusion and his (new) favourite son, Lefty, had taken full advantage. Lefty was still picking pieces of thrall out of his boot-nails, and Poppa was so pleased with his touchdown, he was even excused latrine duties for a whole day.
'Reflex Action' had lived up to his name as well, taking a magnificent interception, arching himself into the air like a leaping salmon to grab the ball mid-flight. He, too was excused dunny-sweeping. Spittle and Arsenic were not impressed with their extra duties that night, as the rest of the team caroused on fungus wine.
Stabber's smashed knee was a cause for concern, and he would definitely be out for the next game. The apothecary wasn't even sure if it would ever heal properly, as he'd exhausted his potions and reagents on preventing near-lethal damage to Stinkle.
However, Uncle Greyears was able to use some of the match winnings to call on a friend of his to play in the next game. This friend has, it seems, a bit of a reputation, which gave all the greenskins a thrill - a genuine BloodBowl Star, on their own side! This player? A certain Nobbla Blackwart...
Roll on the next game!

Thanks to Shooter for the game; a disastrous couple of opening turns saw him 1-0 down, and the dice were definitely in my favour - I think I failed one dodge all game, and made a 6+ interception and a three-TZ 6+ pickup, and managed to avoid too much damage from his vamps.
Thanks for being a great sport, and best of luck for the rest of the tournament! :)”
