“The cunning coach of the ratmen took a deep sigh before the game.
He knew he had signed his proud boys for a slaughter when he chose to participate in this tournament.
But to face dwarves in the first game was not what he had hoped for.
Bracing himself for masses of dead and broken rats he set up his defence according to his usual tactics.

The dwarves started their drive in a determined manner, sweeping the weak rats from their wake. However
despite nearly half of the team habiting the KO box R.A.B began to live up to their name after exploiting a mistake
by the dwarven ball carrier as he rushed forwards too quickly.
The team thrower L.O. Ngbomb sent a pinpoint long pass to lone gutter runner for the 1st td.

Dwarves couldnt score in 2 turns left and for the second half all of the knocked out players recovered. Yay!
The ratmen almost blew their own chance for an offense, but their speed, agility and the bad luck of dwarves resulted in a 3rd turn touchdown to make it 2-0.

At this point no rats were hurt and coach was crossing his fingers and hoping the luck wouldn't change. And it didn't. Again the speed
and cunning of the gutter runners kept dwarves busy and no td was conceded.
After the game only one gutter runner was slightly bruised and the delighted coach hopes his luck continues.

Good game, my luck decided much. Still the game was pretty even. Drud played very well, good luck to him.”
