“Elthar (Pld 19, TD 31, SP 102) and Eriond (Pld 14, TD 17, SP 58) both missed the match due to niggling injuries, so it was with some trepidation that I entered the match. Fortunately knowing of their frailty, I had seen fit to scout for a new Lion Warrior to cover my stars if either (or both as in this case) dropped out. And I think the Anlec Citadel fans found a new star, as he ran in 5 TD's on his debut, with Uthiel in especially good passing form.
The match was quite brutal, but the speed of the elves in the kick offs gave them a solid 3-0 lead as the game moved into the second quarter of the game. This combined with some elusive runs left the Orcs unable to get solid contact with the Citadel players.
In the second half the Vet'trunz poor temprament led them to sacking the ref, and then the casualties started to roll in. However the Citadel's apothcary saved the only critical injury, and they ran in 6-0 winners. However the lack of play time elthar is putting in is leading the citadels fans to desert the team.”
