“An exciting game that had the fans on their feet and screaming from the get go. Squinty the Nukk star thrower was cracked on the head by a lump of hard cheese and badly hurt as the match commenced.

The Nukks thought they had the first TD wrapped up after a bruising run as a pack up the left wing. A freak defensive block by a RO lineman however allowed them to regain the initiative and subsequently the ball. So the first score of the game went to RO in a steal that left the Nukks shaking their heads.

The hi-light of the match was the 2nd RO TD late in the half which was the result of a run, a hand off and then a long pass to Grisiskikk in the end zone.

The 2nd half started well for RO and they made good field position up their left wing. They made it to within scoring range before the Nukks defense brought down the ball carrier and Gobba McCrud was able to retrieve the ball. The Nukks then moved it quickly across the field through 2 sets of hands before Cracker took it under his stinking armpit and started for the line. The TD came a few turns later as the RO players lay strewn about either on or off the field.

Finally a defensive error by the Nukks after the kick allowed RO's super quick Grisiskikk to again dodge through the pack, grab the ball and scramble in for another TD.

Great game Djed, lots of fun even if we didn't win, hope you got to work on time!!
