“I have played some wacky games in my time (and quite a few today, come to think of it) but this one takes the prize by a mile and a half.

The game started out much as any other stunty game, with lots of pushing about and quite poor rolls. I had a slight edge as most of the fighting took part in his zone. In the seventh turn he took out four players in short fashion and in his last turn he managed to get a snotling with the ball close to one of his troll, and with uncanny precision he threw the whole lot straight cross my half to land just by the end zone. Suddenly he had one thouchdown, and now something happened.
From the first turn of the second half he absolutly slaughtered me. By turn 4 he had 11 CAS (due to me using my apo) and 4 KO, and I had to play two whole turns without a single player on the field. His scoring 0-2 was hardly a surprise as everything he touched disintegrated. My 6th turn of the seven half started with a new kick-off, and I rolled in one player from the four in the KO-box. One. It was carver Randy Kinkybottom, and is was the birth of a legend. Maybe not a legend in SPP's, but never the less a legend. It was Randy Kinkybottom against three huge trolls, two snotling heroes and six evil snotlingpacks, all bent on his destruction. Without thinking much of it I placed him as for right on the LOS as I could, facing a snotlingpack and a troll. The kick-off from the snotlings went wide, and as I only had one player on the field the ball was handed to Randy. Randy now saw his chance of heroic deads, and he took it. Without hesitation he pushed back the snotlings in front of him and threw himself to the right, avoiding their gready little fingers. Straining his muscles all he could he went for it and ran like the wind down the rightfield with two snotlingpacks and a hero following him close behind. The caught him and the hero threw himself over Randy, both falling to the ground. Randy quickly got on his feet and snached the ball from under the noses of the snotlings and dodged out of their way. His lungs burning he ran at full speed down the sideline towards the waiting end zone, the snotlings still on his tail. Mere meters from the end zone they finally caught up with him and he bravely faced them, not willing to give up his goal of making the impossible. Suddenly the other hero came runing up from outside his field of vision and knocked the air clear out of his lungs. Quickly, Randy droped the ball over his right sholder and grabbed the snotling hero's arm, draging him with him in the fall. Despite the pain that tore his body, Randy rolled backwards, grabbing the ball as he did so, and with a final effort he threw himself out of the snotlings' reach and into the edn zone. And as the referee lifted the whissle to his lips Randy held aloft the ball, signaling to everyone his extraordinary one-man touchdown.


What can I say, the game was very fun to play, and with an ending like that it really felt like a once-in-a-lifetime match. I'm sure we both had a blast playing it, and I'm sure this is not the last these two teams saw of each other.
