“First of all, whoever thinks Amazons are Agile is soo wrong... Everytime I play them my team is outbashed. Not that it mattered today. Nuffle was in the stands of the stadium and he was a real laugh...

The Zons got Bad press, buzzing and illegal drugs, so they had two ST4 frenzy machines.

We received the ball and scored in turn 3. Then we had a chance to score, but it did not happen. From that moment, the Zons started to knock down and out everything resembling an elf, regardless of blodge and "tackleless". I used my wizzard (first time ever!) and it was a fiasco. Eventually, the zons scored in the 8th turn. By then, I had 1 SI and 5 KOs. As if it wasn't clear that Nuffle was with the Zons, 4 out of 5 KOs stayed unconscious, and therefore I was already outnumbered in the second half. The KOs included both WDs and the Dauntless Tackle Catcher.

In spite of all that misfortune, we manage to knock down the ballcarrier again, but then we get the most horrible rebound possible. Still, there are four elves around the ball in the ensuing brawl. The Zons can't do much, and I am ready to grab the ball and go for the 2-1. Finally luck is smiling on us. Not so fast. I need to dodge with my catcher to push away two zons from the ball. Result? 1+1 and MNG! Now the game is 7 vs 10, but you can give away turns in this game...

One of the frenzied zons knocks down my sidestep lineman, who steps onto the ball. Remember that earlier bounce? More of the same. The ball falls directly in the hands of the AG4 amazon. It is turn 5.

The zons cage forward and I blitz twice (2db against) without success, desperately trying to slow down their advance. In turn 7, I blitz the ball carrier with 1 die, but again fail to knock him down. Sigh. The Zons score the 1-2 in their 8th turn...

I prepare myself for the desperate OT attempt. The way the Zons are set out, I have a decent chance, although I have no rerolls. My WD blitzes but Nuffle doesn't want to stop... The zon is knocked down instead of pushed. And so the game ends.

Lessons learned
- Harley-topper is an excellent coach of Amazons and his pics are awesome. Good luck in the tourney, buddy.
- Sometimes, you can tell who is going to win by the way JBB works. 8/11 of KO rolls failed. Double ones at the worst times. God, even an AG6 elf killed himself (saved by appo) by dodging away! There is not much you can do about it.
- Learn how to use the wizzard! He was a total disaster and his performance was ludicrous.
