This was a pretty standard orc vs elf match really, Solid caging by the orcs, and a passing game by the elves, leaving the scores at 1-1, without any really good opportunities for a second TD for either team (though there were a few chances here and there).

Winning the toss, Darkest Forest chose to kick. After a rather poor kick that landed near the middle of the pitch, Da 'Arder Boys had no trouble securing the ball. They played a solid caging game, moving slowly up the field to score in turn 8. The elves came close to freeing the ball a couple of times, but made far too many mistakes to have much of a chance this half.

In the second half, Darkest forest moved the ball quickly up the field, leaving it sitting just outside the end-zone after turn 3. A lucky blitz by the only orc in range of the wardancer holding the ball knocked him face-first into the pitch and the ball was gleefully thrown into the field by the crowd. Seeing that it was now, or never, Dancing Moose passed the ball to Sleeping Bear, who required a re-roll to wake up enough to catch the ball, and trundle into the end-zone for a touchdown.

With 5 turns left to score, it looked like the orcs would have a good chance at a second touchdown. The elves, however weren't willing to let the game go yet, and after kicking deep, they moved in quickly makeing for a very tight defence. Seeing that there were no other options, the orc blitzer who was holding onto the ball made a dodge, and a long pass, hoping to get the ball to a waiting black orc. The throw, however, went astray, giving Darkest forest a small chance for a touchdown, but a fumbled pass meant that there was no real chance of that happening. One last attempt to score was thwarted by Stalking Wolf, who made a 1d block on the black orc holding the ball. A push-back was enough, and the ball slipped straight into the hands of his teammate.
