“Ok, this was the Nurgle Nutters first game... Thankfully Nurgles luck was definately on their side!

A factor that plagued the entire match was the pouring rain! Our poor beastmen just couldn't get to grips with the ball, causing it to bounce all over the pitch until someone finally got their hooves to it ;)

The Nutters won the coin toss and chose to receive the ball. Unfortunately due to the weather and the general fumbling of he ball the first half turned into a general muddle as both team just scrambled for the ball with no real solid tactics... The Pestilence Bunnies Beastman (Mazzhuul) came close to scoring a touchdown during the first half, but thankfully Damocles scored a successful tackle and stopped the touchdown attempt dead in its tracks...

The second half a great improvement over the first, again due to that rain!!! Once again scrambling for the ball was the main target of this half, unfortunately the Nurgle Nutters suffered four knockouts whilst attempting to defend the ball from the rampaging Pestilence Bunnies! With the defense smashed open the Nutters thought it was all over! But thankfully Erra The Destroyer managed to successfully scoop up the and throw a perfect pass to the awaiting Figan The Forsaken who ran on to score a touchdown! [Not an easy feat with the formidible rain, but thankfully as a last ditch effort it actually worked, thank Nurgle! ;) ]

As the Nurgle Nutters kicked off again another touchdown could have materialised as the final whistle blew, but unfortunately Damocles tripped over his own hooves whilst going for it at the touchdown line! :(

Overall the match was a mess, but rather fun... I feel sorry for the Pestilence Bunnies as the match really deserved to be a draw, perhaps even a loss for the Nutters... But Nurgles luck was really shining on the Nutters tonight!”
