“The Wessex Wyverns second match was a closely fought draw, the first half was inconclusive with neither team making much progress. In the second half the Wyverns fought off a blitz to take the lead, but with a display of great skill the elves equalised in the final turns of the half.

The team made it through the game and with aethulwulf recovered from his broken ribs, a full eleven men can again be fielded.

The only disappointment is the disapproval of the fans, most likely over the lack of blood as the team once again failed to cause any casualties. Hopefully the team will be able to rectify this in their next game and win some of their fans back.”
