“I did feel a bit miffed when my werewolf became a Pow magnet in the second half; with no opposing tacklers on the field, no rerolls for my opponent and forcing my opponent down to one dice blocks, the odds were massively on my side. Not to be; the werewolf was knocked over not once, but twice in a row on one dice, each time releasing the ball.
I suppose I can't complain too much; another slew of bad luck looked like it would leave me at 1-2, but finally Nuffle gave up some of what he'd been keeping back.
I'll rematch; hopefully next time two werewolves will be luckier than one. ;)”
“Well, Nuffle went on the rampage in this one. HollowOne had som good luck through the first half and nothing I tried really worked against him, and adding to that I did some really stupid plays. Then it flatened out and I managed to work myself back with some luck at the right moment and make it 1-1 in turn 5. Some slippery ballhandling and a missed GFI stopped him from scoring in turn 8.
As we all know Nuffle is fickle, and in the second turn he had decided to abandone HollowOnes werewolf completely. And thanks to a string of POW a managed to have the ball in his endzone by turn 5. The last few turns were very tight and the game was equally close to 3-1 as to 2-2, and in the last turn he managed to get his tie, despite some slippery ghoul hands.
It was a really good game, but I have a feeling that both coaches can't help feeling a bit robbed. As I am new here I would really have valued this scalp, and I think that HollowOne feels his werewolf wasn't treated well by Nuffle.
Maybe a re-match some day?”
