Edit: I didnt try to score points for emu since i really dont care how i mange there, all i care about is my team and them doing good - im just in emu to have a place where i can compare my team with others in how well i do vs elf teams... as you saw i got the ref entire 1st half and not a single foul.. if i wanted points i think i would have brought the boot to the game:)

I constantly rolled both down, or skulls, or pushback (on sidesteppers). These weren't 1D blocks either, they were 2D blocks rerolled. The number of 4D blocks coming up Pushback+Pushback was crazy. For some reason, every critical block came up empty on knockdown. I think I rolled exactly 1 knockdown on an important block.
And, while the Amazons were making 3/4+ dodges regularly, my elfs were constantly tripping on 2s. The only luck I got was a 6 dodge, 6 pickup, 5 dodge, 4 dodge, 2 dodge chain for a score with my Blitzer.
I knew it would be a bad game when my Blitzer dropped a 2+ pass in the second turn with a reroll. Why does that happen so often?
The score should have been 3 to 1, but Emphasy spent most of the first half kicking my guys around trying to get cas for EMU, and the end of the second half graciously not scoring in favor of blocking for cas for EMU =p
