“0% luck...well, that about sums up how the match went! ROFL Actually, it's a misnomer, since comp issues (kept rebooting as I tried to end-game) caused this game to drag out for several days, only finally finishing this evening after I fixed the network card driver issue. So of course I throw a pass for a score, drop it, get 0% luck as a result of failing my only action in the "game".
Then again, not much else was going my way, either. First score came after my agi4 thrower botched his short pass, the agi5 ghoul pickup, score. Fine, lineup again, mistakes happen. And happen again, as my gutter fails a gfi into the endzone and stuns himself. He was probably looking nervously over his shoulder at the mummy who caused twin cas on a single multiblock, both players being over 100 spp...now THAT's an expensive block! Fact is, by end of the first half, 4 players worth over 100 spp EACH were hurt, and my 100+ spp rat ogre was spending more time in the ko box than on pitch.
It was a brutal match, one which showed great tactical awareness by knowfear to be in the right place to take advantage of my players mistakes, then superb sportsmanship when connection issues forced us to work around. Instead of clobbering my team some more, he just let me pass it around (for fear of scoring and rebooting) until the end. We'll be looking for a rematch down the road, but for now, we're just gonna sit and be stunned that our return-to-action match didn't quite pan out the way we'd planned...”
