The first drive resulted in a defensive touchdown for the Happiness Patrol as they encircled the necros and Daisy K managed to twice take down the Ghoul with her Tackle training. Eventually Daisy K would be Badly Hurt, but the two takedowns were enough to earn her MVP for the match.
Da Happiness Patrol eventually recovered the ball, and ran it slowly down the pitch to score right as the clock ran down, inflicting several KO’s, but no real damage.
The second half saw Da Happiness patrol dismayed at a very unfavorable kick combined with a Blitz losing them ball possession before they even got a chance to move. However, their offense rapidly gained a numerical superiority with the ghoul KO’ing himself dodging to get a baubled ball, and the Wolf being crowdpushed for a Stun.
Da Happiness Patrol recovered the ball, but was unable to score further as they constantly dropped the ball time and time again. They kept the Necros from scoring themselves by simply tying up tackle zones and ensuring mostly one die blocks which were seemingly always either POW or SKULL. The number of SKULLs burned Rerolls quickly, and eventually led to several turnovers.
In the end, the lack of ball handling performance led to a KilJoy attitude among the fans, and several had to be purged. A small setback, but rest assured:
