The CAS counter doesn't show quite how brutally those AV 7 Norse were getting battered. At one point I had 6 of 'em KO'd and they kept coming out and heading right back in. Fortunately, Torg didn't suffer any permanent injuries aside from the -av on the thrower (apothed).

Play was pretty standard fare, I think. Actually, maybe not quite. Neither of us really caged up, we were pretty content with screens, for the most part. Kind of fun that way, trying to get around and still not leave the other side open...

Since he was outnumbered from pretty much the start, Torg had a tough time of things. He played well enough, but there wasn't much he could do, I think. Maybe leave a few less TZs on the mummies... that might help. Also, he relied an awful lot on the 1 die blocks, which usually worked for him (all with block and me mostly without it), but caught up with him a few times.

The fouling was not my cup of tea, particularly the turn 8 on the mummy 3/4 of the way across the field, but no permanent damage. This time. I'm not sure if it's because I was throwing him around a bit (I did foul a blitzer into the KO box early in the game and sent a catcher crowdsurfing - just stunned - to remove the scoring threat), but I'd think twice before trying to play a clean game against him with a softer team.

Thanks for the match, Torg.
