The Stars started in offence and ground their way to a commanding position due to inept Juggernaut blocking and sprinting (28% luck after 4 turns!). Soon the Juggernauts were down to 8 players on the pitch, but still almost stopped the Horde from scoring, but the early bad luck was just too much of a handicap to overcome and the Horde scored just before the half time siren.

The Juggernauts fans were mad with their team for their inept play and directed their anger at the on field referee at the start of the second half!

The replacement referee was too spooked to call anything against the Juggernauts who took advantage of his with several fouls in the second half.

The Stars were down to 7 just before halfway into the second half when the Juggernauts scored, leaving themselves enough time to try and force a victory on defence.

It was not to be as the Juggernauts Bull Centaur tripped (good old snake-eyes) when he was about to blitz a defender next to the Stars ball carrier. Success on that blitz would have but the Stars under great pressure as there was s second Bull Centaur about to head that way to reinforce the second.

Instead the Stars had a couple of difficult last chances to steal victory themselves.
------------
It was a fun came that was pretty quick as I took less than 2 minutes every turn LOL. Not hard with only 8 players and most of them on the ground in the first half!

I really was in for a pounding in the first half when I rolled a fair few double skulls, and a snake-eyes on a GFI Blitz that then left my BC on the sidelines to be pushed OOB. Success with the GFI with the first guy would have been enough to save my BC as I could dodge away (even tripping was fine cos at least he couldn't then be pushed OOB).

My opponent chose to stall for as long as possible in the first half (and I would have too from such a commanding position!) but he almost didn't score when he decided not to score on turn 7 and I managed to get a Bull Centaur over his player on the sideline. It took a GFI blitz for my opponent to get 3 players onto my BC and get a 2 dice block and secure the score... a tense moment for him when he tripped on the first GFI attempt!

Getting the ref in the second half made it much easier for me to get a commanding position as I badly hurt one Black Orc Blocker on turn 1 with a foul, then KO'd two others a bit later.

I had a strong chance for victory on turn 7 as I was about to send 2 BCs deep onto his ball carrier and 2 defenders, but the snake-eyes did me in.

Still a fun tight game that could have gone either way at the end as I chose not to stall and try for the win instead of just drawing.
